We are open

The gallery is open for visitors from April 1. to October 31. Guided tours for individual visitors are held during this time each second Sunday of the month, at 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. (in german language) We offer special tours for groups after arrangement at your desired time, if possible.

The members of the club ArGe Schroederstollen meet every Saturday at 10 o´clock a.m. at the shunting yard for working in the gallery, maintaining the machines and keeping the area in shape. On those days, guests are welcome, but we normally don´t do guided tours while working on our projects. Accessing the gallery without guide is not possible. Accessing our area not during our work assignments is a no go. You may understand that we have to prevent damage and theft.

And where is Döhren?

"Döhren" is quite a popular name for villages in Germany. This Döhren can be found between Braunschweig and the Harz mountains. You have to use the B6 between Salzgitter and Goslar, leave it at Othfresen-Posthof into the direction of Liebenburg. After passing Liebenburg turn right to Döhren. Following the L510 you will leave Döhren over the "Weddinger Straße" (direction Weddingen). Behind the Village sign you can already see the group of trees on the galleries heap at the right side and sometimes a locomotive standing behind the heap. We have no parking lot on the area. Please park your car in Döhren and walk the last few meters..
